Eppure chi come alcuni ospiti della trasmissione di Gad Lerner si preoccupa delle colpe vere o presunte degli Ebrei d'Israele, farebbe bene a chiedersi cosa succederà ai Tibetani, quanto più la comunità internazionale aspetta a riconoscere i loro diritti.
Oppure, è destino ineluttabile che quando - tra 100, 1000 anni - la diaspora tibetana finirà, i Cinesi che a quell'epoca avranno generato nelle terre tibetane figli, nipoti, bisnipoti... i Cinesi si ritroveranno nelle medesime condizioni degli Arabi nel 1948 ?
Ma, oggi, come assistessimo in diretta alla conquista romana della terra ebraica e alla distruzione del II Tempio, come vivessimo nel 70 dc. abbiamo ancora tempo e modo di prevedere cosa succederà ... In Tibet, ed in Cina...
e anche di rivedere alcune posizioni accecate sul Sionismo e sulla storia ebraica e di Israele. Appunto.

The Western Wall
A Jewish religious site dating from the Second Temple Period (516 BC - 70 A.D.), it is considered to be the last remaining wall of the Second Temple located on the Temple Mount. Historically Jews have come to this site to wail and mourn the destruction of the First and Second Temples, thus giving it the name ‘The Wailing Wall.’
Today one can find Jews from across the globe praying at the Western Wall, each group with its own distinctive customs and prayer liturgy. It is the scene of Bar and Bat Mitzvah ceremonies, national ceremonies, and swearing in ceremonies. In accordance with Orthodox custom there is a divider in the middle of the praying area separating male and female worshippers.
There is a custom among many to place a small note with prayers and requests into the cracks of the wall.

SL Israel: Up and Running
Second Life Israel was launched Sunday, enabling SL users from around the world to visit Israel’s beaches and historic sites. The virtual state, preceded by a whole Jewish neighborhood in Second Life, is a work in progress, meant to, “present Israel to a global audience beyond the traditional media,” according to co-founder Chaim Landau.
“This is a concept of Israel as a fun, entertaining, thriving and diverse community for Jews and non-Jews, and a home for Israelis on Second Life.”
The creation of Second Life Israel marks the beginning of a new chapter in digital Jewish society. Focusing on a range of areas, from the holy sites of Jerusalem as well as the modern life and tourist attractions known around the world it also brings Israel in line with other countries that have digital counterparts.
