AVATARS with HEART is a German, independent non-profit association established in May 2007.
Our mission is to make a difference from within SecondLife through support of the following non-profit organizations (NPOs):
* Doctors without Borders (health care)
* UNICEF (development aid)
* Amnesty International (human rights)
* World Wildlife Fund (environmental protection)
* peta (animal welfare)
We have a relaxed and calm atmosphere that features plenty of information about our work and goals as well as a several areas designed with relaxation in mind. There are fun board games and free jetskis you can rez to have an enjoyable ride around the beauty that is our home sim. From August 24-26, 2007, in Chicago, Global Kids coordinated the Non-profit and Philanthropy Thread at the Third Annual Second Life Community Convention.
