Digital Eyes has released a animated fan for Relay for Life. You can get it for a minimum donation of 200l$ -but you can donate more if you wish. All goes to cancer research.

This fan is called "2 Hearts" from the song of same name by Kylie Minogue because :

Morgan Kincess - Underground Tunnels

Morgan Kincess, exhibition "Underground Tunnels"

Taken in Paris and London, this serie shows what the public can't usually see in the subway. In Paris it's totally forbidden to go with the driver : that's why Morgan does it. It's also obviously forbidden to go on tracks, but the images are so worth it!

The following picture presented was almost going to be the end of the camera and the photographer. Good adrenaline for unique shots.

WE ARE RELAYING!

http://www.rflofsl.org/

You, the volunteers, the teams for Relay For Life of Second Life, picked up that fundraising baton and never dropped it! You are carrying it integrity and dedication. It is phenomenal to see! You show your pride in being an ACS Relay For Life of SL volunteer and your integrity in the well- planned fund raising events that reach out friendly, caring hands to the communities of Second Life. You show your dedication with your support of each other as you advertise and attend each others events. Talk about a team work! It’s just downright impressive! We are relaying and it’s a relay of sincere people who have united to achieve one goal; a goal that someone, some day will cross a finish line and yell out – “YES! WE HAVE A CURE!”

YEP, WE ARE RELAYING! And I am honored to be relaying along side you.
Fay

Relay For Life® in Second Life®

RFL in SL

RFLofSL 2007 was a huge success!

The 2008 virtual Relay will be held July 19, and it's shaping up to be the biggest ever!

Support the Virtual Relay at events.cancer.org/RFLofSL

The Relay For Life® is coming back to Second Life® for a fourth consecutive year! The volunteer community is in the midst of preparing the largest contiguous event Second Life® has ever seen. We hope you will join us there!

In 2005, the Relay for Life® in Second Life® was attended by a few hundred avatars and raised almost $5,000 for the American Cancer Society. Last year, the 2007 RFLofSL raised more than $118,000 and attracted more than 1,700 avatar participants to the walkathon event! The track was themed ‘Quest For a Cure’ and was created by more than 75 volunteers. Avatars were treated to virtual scenes from action and adventure stories. Participants encountered opportunities along the way to have fun while donating money - lighting virtual luminaries, and participating in events such as musical performances, sky diving, roller coaster rides, and treasure hunts.

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life® began in May 1985 when a colorectal surgeon ran around a track in Tacoma, Washington, for 24 hours, raising $27,000 to support the American Cancer Society. Today Relay For Life is held in more than 4,600 communities in the United States and in 23 countries across the globe. To date, Relay For Life has raised more than $1.5 billion to help the Society accelerate the progress against cancer by saving lives, helping those touched by cancer, and empowering people to fight back against this disease.
